Short: Legacy RPG demo Author: Redshift, port by Szilard Biro Uploader: col lawrence gmail com (Szilard Biro) Type: game/role Version: 1.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 3.0.0 Legacy is an old school dungeon crawler RPG, that was originally released for PDA devices by Redshift in 2003. I worked on an Amiga port between 2017-2018, but in the end I couldn't obtain the rights to publish the full version. This is a limited demo where you can't leave the first city, and your party members have a level 6 cap. Requirements: - 68020 CPU - Kickstart 3.0 - ECS/AGA chipset or RTG - 4 MB Fast RAM - 7 MB disk space For native chipset modes BlazeWCP should be installed (Kickstart 3.1): http://aminet.net/package/util/boot/Blazewcp Kickstart 3.0 users can SystemPatch instead: http://aminet.net/package/util/boot/SystemPatch299 The game will display a warning if either of these are needed. There are two executables using different resolutions: - dungeon: 320x240 - dungeon-hires: 480x320 (on a 640x400 or 640x480 screen) The primary input device is the mouse, but the keyboard arrows can also be used to move around quickly. Not all RTG drivers support changing sprite colors which can make the mouse cursor hard to see. To mitigate this the game also supports windowed mode on high color (15-bit) or higher RTG screens, which can be enabled using the "WINDOWED" tooltype in the icon.
