Palis V1.02
-----------
This is another patch-manager like Saferpatches. Additonally, in the
archive is a program that checks whether any is installed (for use
with the Installer) and an object/src/include using it you can easily
install/remove patches (with and without _any_ patch manager).
Advantages
----------
- Palis fully debugged.... ;^)
- PalisView to view currently tracked patches (with nice gui).
- PatchTest finds out whether a manager is active (therefore you can
decide whether you should install one when you are about to
install a program that patches libraries).
- Object "cdxMakePatches" offers automatic generation of dummy codes,
testing whether it is possible to remove _all_ installed patches
(now supporting _every_ patch-manager !!!!!!!!!!!!!!), automatic
use of semaphores to protect other processes from running previously
deallocated/removed functions etc.
- All sources in the archive.
- Freeware.
- Installer script (using Testpatch ;-)
Note to Palis V1.00/1.01
------------------------
Some people told me that Palis is silly because better programs with
the same aim exist. Moreover Palis 1.00/1.01 was buggy.
Now Palis works fine and does not produce any trouble.
If you are using Palis 1.00/1.01 please up-date !!
If you are using another patch-manager, you don't need Palis but you
may use Testpatch and/or cdxMakePatches.o in your productions if you
like.
