I believe that instead of concentrating on a "nice" graphical interface,
Workbench 4 will try to excel in the areas it is already famous for -
ease of use, functionality, and reliability.
One of the main features of my dream Workbench would be "Compatibility
Mode". This mode, in a nutshell, would auto-detect the file-system of any
inserted disk, even if it was from a totally alien operating system, or it
was an old Amiga NDOS game disk!
Also included would be the ability to play old Amiga games in a window or
fullscreen - games which closed down earlier versions of Workbench would
be forced to multi-task with it.
Using the aforementioned Compatibility Mode, "virtual" disks could be
created on a hard-disk, enabling old Amiga games to finally be installed!
