This file is NOT part of the GNU Emacs, nor (a port of) any official
GNU software. It is an elisp package for use with GNU emacs, and
util/gnu was the best place I could find for it.

Simple general documentation reference database for GNU Emacs.
Use keywords to search for info in all different kinds of
documentation files on your system.

Due to the overwhelming response of exactly 0 (zero!) emails, I have
chosen to try once more adding the utilities in the deal. (They were
temporarily lost in a disk crasch last time I uploaded this.)

The archive contains the following files:
sdoc.readme - This file
sdoc        - Gnu Info file
sdoc.el     - Gnuemacs elisp file
sdocutil    - Gnu Info file
sdocutil.el - Gnuemacs elisp file with database management utility functions.
sdoc.fileformat
sdoc.regexps - For the extremely curious.

Installation etc is covered in the info file sdoc.

To read it, press 'g' in info and write the filename for the sdoc info
file in parenthesis. ("(ram:sdoc/sdoc)" if you unpacked the archive in
'ram:')

Invoking info with a prefix (like ^U-^H-I) might work too.
