 44.0 first public release
 44.1 added newicon.library support for os3.0/1 based systems.
      decoding of 2color icons didn't work and crashed the
      system, removed the bug without even knowing that it 
      existed;) <Dirk Neubauer>.
 44.2 implemented transparency support (this requires that the
      icons don't use more than 255 colors).
 44.3 the program can read/convert truecolor icons now. Thanks
      to Allan Nielsen for the icons.
 44.4 replaced Bayer16 dithering code by floyd-steinberg 
      dithering. if you had any problems using this program
      in conjuction with NewIcons, this version should fix the
      problem.
 44.5 repaired NewIcons support and broke os3.5 support last time;)

 44.6 the aligment of the image data wasn't correctly calculated.
 44.7 NewIcon support should finally work without any enforcer hits
