Version: 1.7.0
Architecture: i386-aros

This is a release of Eternak Lands client 1.7.0 for AROS.

The client has been tested on my aros-box and works:
- starts
- loads data
- connects to server
- allows creation of player
- allows login of player
- disconnects from server
- exits

Requirements:
- AROS needs to be running in 32 bit mode (tested on 1024x768 mode)
- Drawer Work:Applications/el is suggested (preconfigured)
- Internet connection available from AROS
- About 150MB free RAM

Notes:
1. This version of client is only operational in Windowned mode.
You may choose the resolution. The client is pre-configured to
run in 800x600x32. The mode must always be 32 bit.
2. The client uses very poor software rendering. No video card
acceleration is used. You will get different FPS depending on your
machine specs. Generally the more powerful CPU the better results.
If you want to get a bit better performance (+10-20%) go to options
and turn on the 'Isometric view'. You will loose 3D perspective,
    but gain some speed.
3. In EL client on other platforms the curson changes its shape to
indicate actions when you hover it over objects. This DOES NOT
happen in AROS version. You will always have the same AROS arrow.
I suggest starting up a Linux or Windows version to familiarize
    with usage of cursor actions.

Benchmark results:

Celeron 1.7Ghz 6- 7 FPS
Intel Core Duo 2.4Ghz 10-20 FPS
AMD64x2 3Ghz 10-22 FPS

Instructions:
- Copy the contents of the archive to Work:Applications/el
- Open Shell
- type 'cd Work:Applications/el'
- type 'stack 200000'
- type 'el-i386-aros'

The preconfigured icon available in the client does the
stack setting for you.

You can put the client in any directory of your choice. After
doing so, you need to edit the el.ini file in main client
directory as well as el.ini files in subdirectories of elc_config.
Search for key '#data_dir' and put the location of client main
directory there.

The client will start and should connect to server. It may take
up to 1-2 minutes to load all the data on some older machines.

Before you can start playing, you need to create a new characted
using the 'New Characted' option on login screen.

The patch to modified the original Eternal Lands client source
codes is located in PATCH directory.
