This is the official distribution of the wellknown PPF tools
for the Amiga. If you want a GUI use AmiPPF on Aminet.

PPF is the abbreviation for Playstation Patch File.

ApplyPPF applies PPF V1.0 and PPF V2.0 Patches to a PSX Image file.

Use MakeCD (other burner software untested, but may work, too) in
"Raw Block Contents" mode to generate the image file. Please note
that the filesize check may be inaccurate because most of the PPF
Patches are done under Windows with CDRWin Software. This means 
that Amiga users can skip a filesize-errormessage without any
problem.

MakePPF creates PPF V2.0 patches for free distribution over the net.

Please note that this package does not support PPF V3.0 files
because the Amiga Filesystem isn't able to handle 64bit file
operations :-((
