  WinRes 1.0 for Amiga


WHAT'S NEW?

  - First Aminet release.


WHAT IS IT?

  WinRes can extract files from Windows resource files such as .EXE,
  .DLL, .ICL, etc.  Currently it can only extract .ICO files from
  Windows 3.1 files but in the future I plan to support more formats (if
  I can get information about them).

  WinRes can be used with CUR2ILBM (also written by me) to convert .ICO,
  .CUR, .ANI files into IFF-ILBM files so that they can be viewed/edited
  easily with other utilities for the Amiga.
